One of the great things about working with SSI, is that they are constantly leading the way in diving education. Over the past few years, they have been building a complete digital framework, with almost every aspect of the customer delivery moving online (except that actual diving, of course!)

From digital training, log books, certifications and even a continuously evolving global digital dive guide, there’s a whole host of great content – and it’s constantly growing, with more and more new features being added all the time.

The best thing is that the MySSI app and web portal is FREE and it’s available to everyone – wherever in the world you are! Whether you’re a diver or non diver – it doesn’t matter…

If you want access to the SSI app, complete with some free training content, this article will explain exactly how you can get access in just a few minutes.

You will also be able to receive digital recognition cards for some of the courses you complete!

Step 1

You will need to sign up and affiliate with a dive centre. There’s no obligations on you, it just means that should you wish to carry on and do more training, you are already linked to an authorised training centre.

To affiliate with Scuba 2000 click the link below.

REGISTER WITH SCUBA 2000

If you want to view our page on the SSI website first, click here to view the site below. When you are ready, click the REGISTER WITH CENTRE link.

Step 2

When you get to the sign-up screen, you will need to enter the following details:

  • Email
  • First & Last Name
  • Birthday
  • Country
  • Language

When you have entered this information and click next, you will be asked to confirm the Dive Centre you are affiliating with. To register with us, ensure this is set to 744037 Scuba 2000 PL30 5EL Bodmin.

Note: Your country and location is not important at this point, as the free training is all available online.  You will also be able to change your affiliations at any point should you wish to register with another dive centre later on.

Step 3

The final step in the sign-up process is your confirmation. Check your details are correct and confirm you agree to the privacy policy, data consent and terms of use.

If you wish to receive any promotional content, additional information and special offers, you must consent to receiving marketing information.

When you are ready, press the SEND button to complete your registration.

Step 4

You will be sent an e-mail with your login details. These typically arrive within a few minutes, but please allow sufficient time for the email to arrive – it may be worth checking any spam folders too, if it looks like it hasn’t arrived within 30 minutes.

Step 5

When you have your login details, you will be able to access MySSI via the web application or via the app, which can be downloaded to your Apple or Android phone or tablet. The app is available from the applicable app store – just search for MySSI.

Step 6

When you first login, you will see a welcome screen with various options. This will look slightly different in the app, but essentially the core features are the same. You will be able to edit your profile if you wish to:

  • Add a profile picture and some other additional data
  • Add your number of dives and when you started diving (if you are already a diver)
  • Change your preferred language
  • Opt in and out of SSI marketing and promotions
  • Add, change or remove your training centre affiliations.

You can access your FREE training in two ways.

1. There is a scroller on the home screen that allows you to see courses you have access to:

2. From the menu, select Programs & Cards > Programs to view all your assigned training:
