SSI provide recognition of gaining experience through a combination of logged dives and specialty training.
Specialty courses can either be chosen and taken separately but the best way – and the most cost effective way is to choose our bundle packages. These are available for Specialty Diver, Advanced Diver and Master Diver.
SSI Advanced Open Water Diver is the second step on the pathway to becoming an SSI Master Diver, and can begin as soon as you complete your Open Water Diver training. By completing any four SSI specialty programmes that interest you, and logging 24 open water dives, you will automatically receive the SSI Advanced Diver recognition rating, along with your SSI Specialty programme certifications and your Specialty Diver recognition rating.
